These Terms of Use govern access to websites operated by Built Different Media Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), including pages on builtdifferent.media and related demo or project subdomains. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. What this site is for

This website showcases our work and services and lets you contact us about potential projects. Content is for general information unless we agree otherwise in a separate written contract for production services.

3. Enquiries and forms

Submitting a form is a request for contact, not a booking. Any project work is subject to a separate agreement (and fees) that we confirm with you. Information you send must be accurate and lawful for you to share.

4. Intellectual property

Unless stated otherwise, films, images, text, logos, design and code on this site are owned by us or our licensors. You may view the site for personal or internal business evaluation. You must not copy, scrape, republish, or commercially reuse our content without prior written permission, except where UK law allows (for example fair dealing).

Client work remains subject to the rights agreed with that client. Appearance of a brand on this site does not grant you any rights in that brand.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misuse the site or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to it
• Submit unlawful, abusive, or infringing content via forms
• Use the site to send spam or automated bulk requests
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us

6. Third-party content and links

The site may link to or embed third-party services (for example video platforms). Those services have their own terms and privacy notices. We are not responsible for their content or practices. Embedded players load only if you allow embedded media in cookie preferences.

8. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under UK law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profit, arising from use of this website. Our total liability for claims arising from use of the website (not from a separate production contract) is limited to £100.

Separate production contracts will set their own liability terms for that work.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows.
